Hi hi! I uh...know it's been about a bit more than a week since my last blog but honest, I AM working on this!I've added a friend of mine's site button, Nolax's! A really gud friend of mine that's learning HTML/CSS about as much as me, as I kinda incited them to, lmao.
Also retouched the "Not Found/Error 404" page, just featuring my fav Chapter 5 area...Well, behind the cliffs lol.
I guess there's admittedly not much more I can say about this site so far...so why not a lil bit about myself?
I mean, it's a blog, not a devlog!!! Might as well, right?
So! Stuff's a bit old news as it's been maybe a little more than a week now...? But I got myself a PSVita!
It uh...costed like, 120 bucks and I bought some other stuff so...ouch. But oh well.
Naturally, I went ahead and modded it right away. And I'll say I was...not as hooked anyway, lmao.
I mean, it's especially hard to since I've been a Nintendo Head since my BIRTH, and I modded my 3DSes multiple times by now so...
In terms of possibilities, the Vita feels weaker compared to my New 2DS XL, lol.
That being said, I do still like the Vita as it does have impressive performance for its size! (amazing potential quote to take out of context.)
And I'll give it to it, the camera feels a bit better than any 3DS model, but maybe that's just me...
And with Pro Camera Vita; a Homebrew app that enhances the Vita's Camera app a bit with filters and such, I could take pictures that looked pretty close to the Tsukihime style!
If you're not familliar with what I mean, Tsukihime is a 2000s Visual Novel with heavily filtered backgrounds, most of them with a light blue hue to them.
It's grown a bit on me and even though they're likely to actually be drawn backgrounds, the filters still work kinda well on real life photos, in my opinion!
That said, it's also just really fun quality.
Other than that, I did try a couple games...well, mostly the emulated ones and I do have to say; Vita feels kinda perfect for GBA games??
I know it's funny cause it has kind of a similar build to the GBA and it's one screen but...I dunno it just, feels right? I dunno how to put it!!! (I got a 1000 model, btw, so a "fat" vita)
Other than that, I'd try DS games but I'm not sure what the community says about DS on Vita. I mean...the Vita's gotta be strong enough, right?
I don't think games like Mega Man ZX (best MM game ever btw) would put the console in life support, would they? If so, that's pretty funny, but I might try anyway.
Other than all that...It is a charming little device! A console? Maybe not quite...But hey, it's still cool-looking!
Although it did feel weird holding it, like I could FEEL the fingerprints marking it. And that did annoy me a little...
So I thought I'd buy some of those clear protective cases for it, and it feels a bit better! Weird to hold but better.
That, and it did lead me to uh...wasting some more money on some more stuff.
I did have to buy an SD2VITA adapter to have more space, as well as an ACTUAL Vita charger since all I got from the retail seller was the console and a knock-off NON-USB charger that half-worked (I also got COD as a secret game but I don't play COD anyway so, lmao).
But it also kinda incited me into buying some extra stuff for my New 2DS XL, which I'm willing to share...maybe a lil later :3
It's not much but it's still the kinda stuff I gladly rant on, lmao, so might as well save it until I receive some other stuff for it that I ordered.
